An Educational Seminar Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Independence Held at the State Assets Agency

On September 30, 2026, an educational seminar was held at the State Assets Agency to study the content, significance, and importance of the speech delivered by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, at the ceremonial event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Employees of the Agency’s central office, representatives of system organizations, and regional divisions participated in the event online via the Zoom platform.

Eshmurod Rahimov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, and Farhod Ochilov, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, also attended the event.

In their presentations, the speakers provided detailed information on the main stages of Uzbekistan’s history, prominent figures in the country’s science and culture, their contributions to the development of world civilization, and the importance of historical and cultural heritage in educating and shaping the younger generation.

It was noted that during the First and Second Renaissance periods, great scholars and thinkers such as Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Ahmad al-Farghani, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Alisher Navoi enriched the treasury of human knowledge and thought through their scientific and cultural achievements.

Particular attention was paid to the state-building activities of Amir Temur, as well as to the enlightenment ideas and activities of representatives of the Jadid movement, including Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhanov, Abdurauf Fitrat, Abdulla Qodiriy, and Cholpon.

The seminar also focused on the significance of independence. As emphasized in the President’s speech, the importance of independence is manifested, first and foremost, in raising human dignity and creating opportunities for people to live a free and prosperous life. Over the 35 years of independent development, our country has undergone profound transformations and achieved significant progress. It was emphasized that the country’s future development will depend on national unity, constructive labor, education, scientific achievements, and the responsibility of every citizen for the future of the Motherland.
